Thanks so much for the update. With the one year aniversary quickly approacing, I was hoping to get an update. I plan on doing a one year aniversary update to this website also. I will be looking through some of my photos and will be putting up a few more pictures taken that day and the days after.

As the 26th approaches, I keep thinking it about what it would have been like if I could have been there for this one year aniversary. Possibly within the next couple of years I will be there for an aniversary. With each day, as we get closer to the 26th I keep thinking about I was doing one year ago on each of these days. Everything still seems so fresh in my mind and not like a year has passed.

I look forward to any more news you can give, especially if you have any photos or information about the Birza hotel and Mai's Quiet Zone (if you could locate it since there is not much there now, except a sign). When will you be back in California? I live in Santa Rosa. Maybe you and your dad and I could meet when you return. It would be great to talk to you both in person about your experiences there.
