John, you have given many of us a good look at what you experienced that terrible day in December. Thank you for sharing your story. My friend and I eventually made our way to Khao Lak in January to join a group of volunteers to aid in the relief effort. The area has changed greatly from the depiction in your photos to present day. There is so much work to still be done, and the efforts will continue for years.
